List Cut Update: While Chris Washington Jr. hasn't set a timeframe for a list cut, he says it will feature no more than ten schools once announced.

Schools Watching Him On Saturday: Alabama, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Purdue, San Diego State, UCLA, and Villanova.

Schools In Play: Washington Jr. has an official visit scheduled with Alabama for Sept. 6. He additionally says he plans to lock in visit dates with Auburn, Cincinnati, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.
List Cut Update: Gage Mayfield hasn't set a timeline for a list cut but says he'll eventually narrow it down to no more than five schools when the time feels right.

Schools Watching On Saturday: BYU, Creighton, Florida State, Miami, Stanford, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Schools In Play: Mayfield completed an official visit to Tennessee last month and has another scheduled with Florida State for Aug. 1. He also has Miami locked in for the final weekend of August, but says that visit could be moved up to an earlier date.

In addition, Michigan extended him an offer over the weekend, and Mayfield says he "definitely" plans to schedule an official visit to Ann Arbor.
List Cut Update: Kevin Thomas plans to trim his list at the end of the fall or early winter and says it will "probably" be a top five.

Schools Watching On Saturday: Boise State, Cincinnati, Clemson, Illinois, Louisville, Nevada, San Francisco, Texas, and UCLA.

Schools In Play: Thomas has scheduled fall official visits with Auburn and Florida State. He says he is in the process of scheduling an official visit with Miami. He also says Tennessee, Texas, and UCLA have been keeping in touch with recently.
List Cut Update: Jacob Lanier's father says he will not announce a list cut or lock in visit dates until the grassroots season concludes.

Schools Watching On Saturday: Air Force, Boise State, CSU Fullerton, Georgia State, Grand Canyon, High Point, Lamar, Longwood, Louisiana, Middle Tennessee, Missouri State, Mount St. Mary's, New Mexico State, Northern Kentucky, Sam Houston, Stanford, Stephen F. Austin, Syracuse, TCU, UNLV, Vanderbilt, Vermont, and Virginia.

Schools In Play: Lanier's father says he will look to plan fall official visits with Auburn, East Carolina, Florida State, LSU, and Ole Miss. He added that Arkansas, Nebraska, Seton Hall, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt have shown recent interest.
Tennessee wasn't mentioned with any other prospects.

Bad look for Barnes. No way to spin this one. Someone messed up on UT’s side.
Coach Rod Clark was the key recruiter for Trey. Trey says the Iowa coaches are similar to his high school coaches and that he would rather have D1 competition this year rather than high school competition. TN wasn't going to let him come a year early. Not CRB fault
 
Tennessee didn’t have much conversation about a reclass with him, mutually it didn’t make sense, he wouldn’t see the court this year here. He’ll go to Iowa and probably get minutes along with money, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him enter the portal after the year is over and be an option here.

Best deal for all parties involved. Let him learn and grow, then we can have another discussion in a couple of years.
