My first time looking at the leagues schedule next year. I don't know if anyone is getting off easy.

Each team plays at least 4 teams that are ranked right now. granted those rankings will change between now and 2026, but still its rough looking ahead.

Auburn (7) @ Vandy, Alabama, Georgia, TAMU, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas
Florida (6) Georgia, Ole Miss, Vandy, Oklahoma, @ Missouri, @ Texas

I think everyone from Auburn to LSU you can put a big question mark next to.

Auburn new head coach, struggling team this year.
GT loses King who is their heartbeat this year, what will they be next year? A lot of their coaches names are being brought up as possible HC elsewhere.
Vandy is similar in that they lose Pavia, who knows what they look like. Lea has been mentioned as an desirable coach too.
SCAR is trash this year, but if the pattern holds will rebound next year. a lot will depend on what their stars do. at least the QB can leave for the NFL, others may transfer depending on the OC and other changes coming.
Arkansas will be a new coaching staff and Green is gone. a lot will depend on how the transfer portal hits them.
LSU will be a new coach and a new QB, as well as losing some key pieces on defense.

2019! We played ‘em once.
Yes, but not in College Station. Everyone one else played a home and away against every team before the latest expansion. Somehow iirc the Gayts got sent to TAMU an extra time instead.

Anyway, I mean never in history. In Athens or at neutral site all 6 times.

But iirc you’re playing a home and away beginning in 2027. It’ll be fun for everyone to see.

It was the result of the 2020 year and the conference trying to hurriedly create 10 game conference schedules.

A&M's original cross-divisional rotation for the 2014 onward period was: 2014 vs. Missouri, 2015 at Vanderbilt, 2016 vs. Tennessee, 2017 at Florida, 2018 vs. Kentucky, 2019 at Georgia, 2020 vs. Vanderbilt, 2021 at Missouri, 2022 vs. Florida, 2023 at Tennessee, 2024 vs. Georgia; 2025 at Kentucky.

Florida's 2018 hosting A&M and 2022 game at A&M were still played according to the original schedule rotation. The conference just went right back to the original scheduling format after the mishmash of scheduling in 2020, rather than try to come up with an entirely new rotation for the next few seasons.

UGA's original cross-divisional rotation for the 2014 onward period was: 2014 at Arkansas; 2015 vs. Alabama; 2016 at Ole Miss; 2017 vs. Mississippi State; 2018 at LSU; 2019 vs. Texas A&M; 2020 at Alabama; 2021 vs. Arkansas; 2022 at Mississippi State; 2023 vs. Ole Miss; 2024 at Texas A&M; 2025 vs. LSU.

So after the 2019 game in Athens, there was supposed to be a return trip to College Station in 2024...but as we all know, the original 2024 schedules and their rotations didn't happen as that was the year Oklahoma and Texas joined the conference and the divisions were done away with (leading to two bridge-gap schedules in 2024 and 2025 that didn't really follow any sort of long-term rotation plan, similar to the two bridge-gap schedules in 2012 and 2013 when Missouri and Texas A&M joined the conference).

November looks brutal for us. I don’t know if I’ve seen a tougher slate of four games in Tennessee scheduling history.

I can't remember if it ever happened in 4 games. but I feel like we used to open SEC play with Florida, then Georgia, one other game, then Bama. By TSIO our season was cooked, with no big games left.
