I would like to hear South Carolina fans take on SC recruiting since a lot was focused on Hall, Harper, and Edwards among that little SC social media fanbase. I personally don’t think Hs rankings are consistent enough to get caught up in the individual stars and ratings.
If SC lands another strong portal class and larger high school class then this would be irrelevant next season because they might be even better without the #1 recruit.

I'm not really convinced that she is the number one player in the class, but she is definitely top ten. When her team played against Prawl's for the championship she was really dominating that game early, but down the stretch couldn't make a shot and Prawl's team was able to come back and win the game. I just hope they have enough basketballs for all those players that like to take a lot of shots. Have to wonder how it is going to play out with Watkins, Hall and the other number one learning to play together in a game. Someone is going to need to give up some throws at the basket for the team to be successful meaning getting to the final four.

Of the four 98 rated players it is easy to see that Edwards has the most potential. I like Harpring and Hall next and then Vukosa last. The 97 rated players Robinson and Crittendon stand out as the best two in that group and no doubt either could turn out to be just as good or better than Harpring and Hall. We are in strong with a couple of the 96 ranked players Abii and Fleming. I 100 percent disagree with the 94 rating of Minus think she should be in the 96 field as well.

I think the team that gets Edwards will be getting the best player in the class. She has domination athleticism and will be a difference maker for someone.

Social media and recruiting has fried collegiate sports smh.
Just let these kids and young college athletes go where they going and move on.
This reminds me of LSU team/asst. coach and all that ruckus with the F that signed with UConn.
Neither UConn nor LSU ended up with the #1 transfer portal class by the way.

There will be six graduating following the 2025-26 season.

In addition to the three at the top in blue are Janiah Barker, Nya Robertson and Jersey Wolfenbarger, all three transfers are seniors also. So a total of six between HS and portal transfers incoming, plus any adjustments for portal transfers out. Possible adjustment may be required if a senior is injured at the front end of the season.

About as simple as I can explain it.

Thanks. Curious how many we might save for transfer portal vs hs class. Could see us signing 4-5 hs and then having 2-3 portal if no one leaves. Guess it depends how many good players want to jump in the boat from HS.
