At this point, just give me Brandon and some experience. Sam won’t be the same. JA isn’t getting eligibility. GM hasn’t given the staff any faith. Either Brandon or give me a hungry DII kid

MacIntyre had offers from from the following CFP teams: UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, the U, Oregon, and Indiana. All four of the Final Four teams. He also had offers from Clemson, FSU, LSU, Auburn, Michigan, and Notre Dame. Dude has potential, I don't know why so many people are eager to get a player from the portal to replace him.
Because he isn’t near ready and hasn’t developed physically.

The number of our fans saying let's roll with Gmac or Faison baffles me. Has the playoffs not educated you or even the season Vandy had?

8 of the 12 Playoff teams had transfer QB's including the current Final Four.

If you think your a Playoff caliber team your not going to hand the reigns to a Freshman or RS-Freshman QB or even a Sophomore unless your sure he can lead your team in the transfer portal era. When you can bring in a highly touted guy for a 1 or 2 year run.

I agree with you. We have to get a portal QB. I'm concerned about Leavitt too.
I guess my point is, if we can’t go get a player that just balls, roll with Brandon and build. I understand hurting confidence as a freshman but we don’t get players very long anyway. If he can’t handle it, get one out of the portal next year. Not many big names out there

If I'm going with one of the young guys, I'm going with Gmac

If you can’t get JA again, roll with Mac. Use him as a manager and don’t let him try to much if he’s not ready. Throw the millions at defense.
We’ve played 3 QBs in 7 of the last 20 seasons if I counted right. Not to get backups playing time. Like actual no ******** emergencies due to horrible play or injury. We can’t have 2 QBs. Not under any circumstances. If you want to have the opinion that we should take a guy like the Western Carolina kid as a probable depth piece then that’s a legitimate position. Wanting to have 2 scholarship QBs is not

Soooo Gmac hasn’t given you any faith in a year where Nico took all the ones in the spring and JA took about 95% of the reps during the season? But you’re sold on Brandon who has zero reps in practice or games at the college level. Missed half of his senior year and completed less than half of the passes in his state championships game???

if it is Sam… I really hope Huep does his homework cause after Nico and Boo we don’t need another round of drama and disappointment. I like Huep and want him to win big here.
Upper classmen vs freshman. Upper classmen quarterbacks succeed in CJH system and not freshman.

I just look forward to having the same qb two or three years in a row and that is what we finally will get with GMac or Brandon. Hopefully.

Who said we only need 2? Came up with that on your own.

Kind of depends. I appreciate Aguilar and especially following Nico but few want to deal with his limitations. He turns it over too much and still wasn't on the "Hooker" level of executing the offense or reading coverage. I would prefer to move on.

Recently someone said that GM was asked to gain weight and either cannot or will not. He would be my preference if he can gain the muscle and bulk needed. Faizon likely means a 7 win season. Fr QBs are going to become even more rare because of their risks now that teams can get experience from the portal.

I'm not a huge Leavitt fan but he seems to be the best available option.

I choose "other portal qb" because it's highly unlikely Aguilar returns and Leavitt, while his play when healthy is elite, is not 100% right now.

A lot of people on this board seem to be much concerned about him being skinny. I presume CJH looked at him before he signed him.
The problem is he's not gained any weight which was expected. None of us knows how much or how dedicated he's been to the task at hand.
