I actually didn't see this coming because the league sanctions are placed on behalf of the owners, and the word was that other owners were pissed.

Conspiracy time:

- Ballmer lobbed enough hand grenades showing other owners doing similar stuff that they backed off.
- Ballmer is getting quietly punished somehow, and the league doesn't want to acknowledge a real scandal happened.

They're paying $106m to 3 guys not named Braun or Jokic. Murray is at $50m and he's a borderline all star. I love Gordon, but teams aren't lining up to pay a 15 and 6 PF $34m who is injury prone.

I don't think this is fair to put on just the Braun contract.
