that is correct. I stopped voting with Obama/McCain. My decision is a point of contention with some others on the board. I respect why they feel that way. But I have my reasons and those reasons sit well with my conscience.

I get it, but that's what accounts for my "frustratingly" moderate description of you. I am disgusted by many of the things that Republican politicians do. They are nowhere close to being as fiscally conservative as I'd like. However, the only viable alternative is to leave the nation to the Democrats, who actively want to destroy the very fabric of the nation.

Trump knew his base wouldn't support an AA Woman (much like the heavily red KY Gov race with Daniel Cameron ) so he withheld his endorsement....

And the results validated his assumptions since she was the lowest statewide performer by far.

How do you fit in with this definition?

I would define MAGA as a strong supporter of the policies, rhetoric, and political posturing of Donald Trump. Not a positive or negative connotation.

I agree in a general sense. But I live in a red state. purple isn't even on the radar. My lack of vote isn't turning things over to Ds.

Interesting scale.

I feel like I’d rate myself 65-75. Center-left moderate, arguably a left libertarian even though I’d never identify as one openly (too many loonies in libertarian circles). I have a lot of conservative views (mainly, I’m very pro-2A), but I also hold a lot of liberal views. Have very negative opinions on both MAGA Republicans and the Mamdani types of Democrats. Also, I am not happy that Jay Jones won his election up in VA and wanted him to lose due to the texts that he sent.

Definitely agree with a lot of folks in here that neither party truly represents me. The political polarization of this country is getting way too high and makes people like me feel politically “homeless”.
