U.S. Rep. Mark Green's last day in office will be July 20, Fox News has learned.

Green, a Republican from Tennessee, previously announced his intention to resign after the vote on President Donald Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill."

The retired U.S. Army officer voted in favor of Trump's spending bill, sending it to the president's desk.

"Today was my last vote in Congress," he wrote. "My time here started with a fire to serve veterans, it continued with leading the historic impeachment of a cabinet secretary, and now it ends with achieving real border security. I am grateful my last vote was for the one Big Beautiful Bill."

Who picks the replacement? I know the Gov picks the replacement senators .... same for HoR?

Anyone else notice the estimates keep increasing to the number of American losing healthcare.. Up to 17 million now ... Remind me the Hamas death toll... Changing with whoever need to make a tik tok or x post.
Well gee. Lets just compare the covid vaccine to the phony number losing health care. If health care means forcing you to take untested, dangerous vaccines, then count me OUT.

"Months before he became the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin acknowledged in a New York Times interview last year that "the majority of Americans believe that the Republican Party best represents the interests of the working class and the poor. And that the Democratic Party represents the interests of the wealthy and the elite."

The party's continued focus on pet progressive issues that only the wealthy can afford to care about does not appear to have moved the needle on this perception."

"Two influential labor union heads quit their posts at the DNC after disagreements over the party’s direction. Gun control activist David Hogg was ousted from the DNC’s vice chairman position after he pledged to fund primary challenges against “ineffective” Democrats. Martin has infuriated some Democrats by purging a number of party officials from a powerful panel that has enormous sway over the presidential nominating contest. And Martin complained in a private meeting that intraparty warfare had “destroyed any chance I have to show the leadership that I need to.”
you know what comes next will be far worse than the Dems right?

What’s your thought here? Further left? If this guy in the NYC mayoral race ever wins at the National level, we will know.
He won't win at the national level. From a potus perspective it's the middle 10% that in swing states decide these things. Trump, and any incumbent, had zero shot at winning in 2020. Pandemics and riots. You aren't surviving. Biden would never survive the inflation issues he caused, along with Trump to ignite that fire , bc it was the "economy stupid" and he was the sitting potus. We won't know until the run up. But it's the middle ten that matter

“Just like the surgical strike that the President did [in Iran]. That was flawless. No American lives cost. Right in and right out. But you know, it’s — the jets weren’t even cool on those engines. Lindsey Graham was on the floor of the United States Senate with charts asking for regime change,” Bauer said.

He said… our soldiers would be willing to risk their lives for regime change in Iran,” Bauer continued, making it clear that he disagrees with Graham “adamantly.”

“Our soldiers are tired of going to fight these regime changes. They, quite frankly, haven’t worked out so well. They’ve actually ended up being worse than the regime that was there before. And we’ve continued to do this, and it has not worked, and he continues to push for this,” Bauer said.

Eff Lindsey Graham.

BREAKING: The Texas House Democrats are breaking quorum. If you’re wondering what the @TXGOPCaucus can do, my colleague
@brentmoneyposted our options last week. Here’s the highlights

Enforcement Authority: Our sergeants-at-arms and DPS have the legal authority to locate and retrieve absent members within Texas borders.

This is not theoretical-it was used in 2003 and again in 2021.

Penalties for Absence: Members absent without leave can face:
Fines of $500 per day
Responsibility for retrieval costs
Operating budget reductions
Reprimand, censure, or even expulsion

Escalation Option: Should members flee the state for an extended period, the Governor has the constitutional authority to declare their seats vacant under the Texas Election Code.

This would lower the quorum threshold and allow the House to act.

Where does that little **** bag get money to 'fund' primary challenges? Maybe that should be investigated.
