Not to mention, when players sign or commit elsewhere, some like to try to frame it as a recruiting failure when it couldn't be further from the truth. If the fit and desire is not there, it's better for both to move on.

Isn't Jones from Bolingbrook? Something seems fishy. Alot of top ranked midwest kids keep ending up at Clemson. Gabby Elliott in 21, Ruby in 22 both from Detroit Edison and now the rumor is Jones in 25. Clemson is not a top womens basketball destination by any stretch. They last a year and leave. Maybe an AAU coach swaying their decisions????

She definitely has an offer. She’s a top 10 player and she officially visited. As of now we are only bringing 6 players in for officials this year so wouldn’t make sense for us to bring someone in without a commit able offer. Coach Kim and Gabe even visited her the week after her official. That’s a lot of resources being spent on someone if we aren’t trying to land them.
