2026 Lady Vols Recruiting

I’m willing to bet one or two of the individual player rankings will drop that are targets for teams such as Tennessee, Texas, LSU, USC, UCLA, UCONN, and South Carolina etc.

Saniyah Hall and Oliviyah Edwards are going to remain the Top 2.

Any other player ranking can change and it wouldn’t surprise me.

And no matter how anyone tries to spin it, Coach Caldwell just out recruited LSU and every other school for Oliviyah Edwards. This is a head coach that signed 3 McDonald’s All-Americans and 5 Top 50 players in her first ever HS class. Ain’t no jury still out on CKC being an elite recruiter.
That’s the bottom line.

Maaan I got to give it to you Knox, I like your positivety. All I'm gonna say is if Jacy commits to UT, I'll eat crow... I think Brihanna Crittenden will be our next commit...

The one recruit I wish we had committed is Kate Harpring, but oh well it is what it is.

Yeah me too! But like it was said earlier, Kim(Mulkey) will say and do whatever it takes to get someone away from Tennessee! I think that goes all the way back to her playing days, at LaTech!? You know they hated Tenn!

Nothing against Harping but the best I’ve ever seen her play was alongside Deniya Prawl, Mya and Mia Pauldo in Ovetime Select.
Tennessee signed two McDonald’s All-Americans in shooting guards Prawl and Civil in 2025 that will bring the same thing to the team.
The point guards now and in the future are Boyd and the Pauldo twins. Sometimes you have to consider the fit of a player and not just expect they would be an instant impact player at every school. I think Harping ended up at an ideal place in the ACC.

Next year we lose 6 Seniors…. Coming back : Cooper, Latham , (Sr.) and Boyd a junior plus the 5 freshman for a total of eight!
That leaves us with 7 scholarships for next year …. Big O plus the rest of the fabulous 4… makes 12 total! Which leaves us with three scholarships.

Now the real question is do you hold the remaining scholarships for the portal and turn down a potential top 10’ sssshhh player ?
Easy question in my opinion! You take the player….. that would be two years in a row with top 1 or 2 classes! I doubt this happens but what an amazing opportunity…: you would still have two spots for senior leadership if you want to use them in the portal ! JMO🤷‍♂️

Okay okay yeah yeah we got Ruby Whithorn and LSU did wanted her a little bit but we also lost Grace Knox and LSU pushed hard for her. I believe Tennessee leads for Jacy Abii right now, but if Caldwell's coaching staff starts cooling on Jacy as they did with Grace, it's LSU's to lose... But you're right whatever Caldwell does not get in the recruiting we'll definitly get in the portal.

Ruby was landing in Knoxville the day Kellie Harper was fired and also played High school basketball with Rickea Jackson at Detroit Edison. Ruby was headed this way before LSU even got into the picture and that is when the coaching change was happening. Ruby was recruited by Tennessee out of highschool and you have to think that Rickea Jacksons success at Tennessee also played a role in Ruby's decision prioritize Tennessee and this current coaching staff closed the deal..

Jacy doing that dance at Texas just like at LSU. Personally, don't think it gives any clues as to her leader.

We could take five and still have two scholarships for the portal. That of course meaning no one leaves us next season. Always a possibility that someone doesn't like their playing time and portals. Right now it is Cooper, Boyd, Mia and Mya Pauldo, Prawl, Civil, Hurst, and Latham set to return with Edwards the incoming freshman so we are at nine. One freshman already committed so four more puts us at 13 players on roster.

I would take them all as all are ready for the big time right now and would contribute on day one. We could still get two veteran players and the four freshmen we have now would have evolved from their present playing level and experience.

Since you actually made the effort, try visiting this website which allows you to track who has followed whom (and vice versa) most recently on Instagram. Type 'bri_crittendon03' in the input field and then select the 'Reveal Now' button. The 'Recent Follows' tab will then display her 5 most recent follows; the 4 most recent are TCU players and TCUWBB. If you select the 'Recent Followers' tab, it will show who started following Bri on IG. Two of the five most recent are TCU players.

Does following relate to a visit. I do expect her to visit there cause it is one of her schools on her list. I just thought there would be more public information than just following someone. Evidently they wanted to keep the visit quite.

Typically, yes. That's the pattern I've noticed in the past with several recruits in different sports. Can't think of any other reason for her to start following several TCU players all of a sudden unless she met them in person on a campus visit.

Not sure why there's such reluctance from some posters to believe she could have visited another school. If she hasn't committed to the only school to which she made an official visit a couple of weeks ago, the chances are very high that she'll be taking one or more additional visits.

Certainly wasn't my agenda as don't care how many visits she takes. I just couldn't find an official announcement of a visit. I certainly expect since she is not committed to take more visits.

When I stated "some posters", you weren't one who seemed reluctant to believe the possibility she had visited TCU. That is why I shared with you my "resource"
