Check out LV superstar Chamique Holdsclaw on the sideline as head coach of the Venom Tears. Holdsclaw has been highlighted and shown at various LV games recently with the biggest event being the Womens Champs Classic showcase at Barclays Center!

When it comes to recruiting, I just sit back and watch Coach Kim Caldwell cook!
#1 transfer portal/# 2 hs class according to ESPN. #1 hs class according to 247 Sports.

Gotcha BO! I’ve been seeing really great reports on Milton training camp performance.
Not pulling for the Cowboys ever but I hope Milton shocks the world and becomes a NFL starter in yr 2.
In the meantime, the LVs WBB team preseason ranked #7 is set to bring the track meet to Rocky Top and it’s bound to be rocking🍊!

Yep. One thing C. Banghart can do is recruit. She deserves some credit there. She signed the #3 recruit in 2024, I believe. She also got Nyla and Taliah Henderson in 2025. Harping is a big get who complements that group.

Now can she compete for conference titles and FF’s is another question. Like Kellie, it seems the S16 is her ceiling. Next year she will have the talent.

Maybe. But, when you get a PG like Harpring, if she can be a bell cow who attracts a couple of elite players at other positions who want to play alongside her, then Elite 8 and Final Four is definitely possible.

I’m watching the Overtime Select tourney and I know it’s out of sight, out of mind but the 2025 class definitely is underrated. I’ve been watching high school and college basketball closely for the past five years.
The recruiting analysts and sportswriters are missing the mark with player evaluations. And actually when you see the transition to college basketball a lot of the players in the 16-40 range are out performing players in the 1-15 range.

Agreed, adding a player like Harping ( or possibly Edwards) could put us over the top given a deep solid roster around them if we can bring in a plus big or two.

Tennessee is currently preseason ranked #7 by ESPN coming off a Sweet 16 run, what do you mean?
It’s one thing to talk recruiting but atleast be rationale about the current status of all WBB teams.
Tennessee has seven players that were ranked inside the Top 20 and three inside the Top 10 of ESPNW rankings on the roster right now.
Deniya Prawl would make four players ranked inside the Top 10 if you factor in her #6 247Sports ranking.
