Right, but it's a seasoned vet vs an incoming freshman.

If Shack can average 6 and if Igor can average 9, then I think Abram can at least average 9, or match Gainey's SR season ppg. I think he starts and I think CM will back up him and possibly Ament.

In that pro league, he had to average around 23-25 minutes to reach around 14 points. Not sure he gets 23+ minutes in year 1 here. Personally, I think 5-7ppg is more realistic. Now, he could come in and look like a star, no one knows.

After reading some posts on here concerning PPG for next years Vols team, I think we will be a team, especially early in the season, that is up and down offensively. There are a lot of question marks right now concerning who are going to be the consistent scorers. I would think that Gillespie and Carey would be pretty consistent because that have D-1 experience. Ament and Massamba are talents, but they might be streaky at times. Abram might be streaky as well. We shall see. My prediction by January is, we will be hard to handle. By then CRB will have the defense set and guys will be figuring out their roles. It's gonna be a fun team to cheer for, that's for sure.

I have no clue what real NIL #s are and the rumored sums seem to outpace reality at times based on the word of people who seem to know. That being said, $1MM+ for a guy who performed well at Belmont, struggled mightily at UNC when he went up to the P4 even in a bad ACC, and is transferring for the second time in two years, largely because it didn’t work out with his home state squad and favorite childhood team, doesn’t scream worth that kind of money to me.

Tyson had an injury last Summer/Fall that kept him out of the rotation. Anyone who pays is going to have a serious medical evaluation done. He's still a good shooter with all the potential he had last year, his health is the mystery.

Nah, I haven't really noticed them but also haven't looked for them. Not sure about elsewhere, but the dispensaries here feel more like a lab with a register/payment area. Some example products are in glass cases but most are kept in secured rooms that are temperature and light controlled.

Orders/shopping are typically done through their website, using their "menu" or getting recommendations from the knowledgeable employees. Totally different from a vape shop. I go to a couple of places regularly, mostly the same one. They're super helpful and friendly instead of having an attitude about it or, even worse, not knowing what they are talking about.

It is like having a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket when you first get your card and go! So many yummy things everywhere....then you realize that most of it doesn't do much except high THC flower, vapes and concentrates (live resin w/plenty of terpenes for most effect). Edibles are great but most brands are very low in THC (100mg per package) so making your own is better, unless the dispensary specializes in high potency edibles.

Now a want a German guy on the team so I can nickname him Schnitzel and yell "Strudel!" every time he hits a shot.....lots of other hilarious options too. Zeig Heil would have been a great nickname for ZZ had they played together.

I mean just think of the nicknames.... The Berlin Banger, The Dresden Fire Bomber, Kraut of Bounds, Sven "Concentration" Kampf, Bavarian Blitzkrieg, The War Criminal, The (racially)Purest Shooter in Basketball.

Notice: I am of German Jewish heritage whose family fought as Americans in WW2 and did not intend any offense.

Has the staff completely honed in on Massamba and Abram or are there other names still out there… Adams, Chaikin, Tyson, etc.

Massamba is an incoming international HS talent that would be part of the 2025 class. Off the radar originally because he had planned to play in the G league for a year then enter draft. 6'6" SG

Abram is a new addition to the transfer portal, will be a senior this season. Played at Ole Miss, GA Tech, and last year LA Tech. 6'4" CG who plays pretty high level defense but also scored 12 a game. Shoots it well from deep.

All depends on Gainey. If he does come back then I think we can be very good on offense early as Gillespie and Gainey are 3 level scorers and our front court will be stout....especially if Phillips makes the jump I expect and Okpara develops an inside shot other than a dunk.

Depends on how he adjusts to the level of effort Barnes demands on defense. Seems like it sucks the offense out of just about every player during that first season. They hit a wall at some point. Just a matter of how long it takes them to adjust and to what level they reach. Even long time vets get worn down as the season wears on. Maybe with depth we can mitigate this to a degree?

If you bring in Massamba and Abram, that puts you at 12. And you know they'll hold a spot for Gainey. I know they might go to 15 schollies, but that doesn't mean you need to fill all of them. So, IMO I think Chaikin, Adams, and Tyson are off the table if we bring in AA and CM.

You ain't alone... you should have seen the BBN boards. You guys beat us in the Sweet 16 on Friday and by Sunday/Monday people were calling for Pope's job because he hadn't added much in the portal LOL
