Oddly Nobu was one of the only businesses on that section of the PcH that didn’t burn last year. I drove there with friends a month ago. It’s charred ruins, and the Nobu. All those funky seafood places from SM to Malibu are toast.

God, that's so depressing. Coincidentally, I was also looking at flood maps of East Tennessee and North Carolina from last year to this year. The past year of weather is incomprehensible in what it's done to entire segments of society. I realize there's a difference in scale between Santa Monica, one of the most engaging places in America, and the rural south. But it's stunning both things happened in a calendar year. Experts are telling me that the hurricane caused flooding well beyond projections for the proverbial hundred-year flood.

Wouldn’t mind seeing us kick the tires on this guy, even though he’s probably Gonzaga bound, especially after they missed on Rice. That’s a lot of scoring, even if it is in the Big Sky, and he has good height.

On the same subject, is there any set deadline for players making a deal with new locations?

But it is moments like losing out on Rice and Freeman that prevent us from ever getting said 1 seed. I love how amazing Tennessee basketball has been recently and never want to take 2 elite eights in a row for granted. But we are knocking on the door of overcoming the biggest hurdle in this program's history, and I want us to go all in for the best chance possible to do so.

If only a final four or national championship could be directly tied to one player who did or didn’t choose a certain school. As Cooper Flagg and Duke just proved, any one player gives no one any certainty in any situation.
