Just desperately scraping the portal for SG options and saw Keith Higgins from Leigh entered today. Believe he got a medical redshirt (only played 12 games this year) but averaged about 18 a game and is 6'4. I'm desperate here lol.

This hurts, Rice was the perfect fit for the team we’ve built up. Really no one player out there that’s as good of a fit/talent right now, imo, but I trust the staff to find us a couple of quality pieces at guard. Really hope we can get in on Thomas at this point.

The attitudes toward Duke Miles are also curious considering his stats are pretty similar to Rice. He scored a few points fewer but did it in fewer minutes and more efficiently than Rice. He and Gainey would be a great 1-2 punch at SG

Miles and hopefully Gainey 5th would be solid guards. Offensively I think JG will be upgrade over ZZ. Ament obviously upgrade offensively over Mashack. The every once and while 3 by Igor although nice wasn't reliable so whoever takes his spot probably an upgrade next year. Rice would have been perfect fit but Barnes still building really nice team.

In my opinion, the California state tax is just a part of the difference between the money in CA vs TN. The other issue, and quite possibly largest difference, is in cost of living.

What is he realistically paying for that would be seen in cost of living, though? Housing and utilities will be covered by USC. Outside of that, he might pay another buck or two for a burger, and a little more for gas, but the primary drivers of cost of living won't even affect him.

Tyler Mcghie from UC San Diego in the portal, his eligibility is kinda confusing, he has 3 years played on ESPN, but is listed as a senior. He is an absolute dog and somebody I would love here.
