Cool, thanks. Weird that we recruited him aggressively out of high school and he ended up at Grand Canyon. Looking at his numbers, he seems like a bit of a volume scorer. Wonder how that translates and if he could up his %s with less attempts in a more structured role.We recruited him aggressively out of HS and were in a main group, had NBA academy connection, kicked the tires again when he entered the portal and then never heard anything but guessing that injury was a concern
I’d take option A personallyAgain, if you can land one of those other guards like Aberdeen or Porter along with him, then I’m taking that over spending a majority of funds on just Rice all day long.
Wouldn’t be a bad haul because then you have solid depth from the bench.
Hypothetical
A. Rice and Chaikin
B. Miles and Aberdeen
I’m taking option B all day because of experience and actual solid depth.
I’d honestly almost rather have Aberdeen than any single other guy on that list, just because of his championship experience and insane motor. Couple that in with him being fearless with looking for his shot and creating offense and I think he’d be the perfect Barnes guy.Again, if you can land one of those other guards like Aberdeen or Porter along with him, then I’m taking that over spending a majority of funds on just Rice all day long.

Can he transfer to an SEC school? If this has already been discussed…no one tase me.I’d honestly almost rather have Aberdeen than any single other guy on that list, just because of his championship experience and insane motor. It doesn’t apply to basketball, just spring footballA couple of posters have said the ‘no inter conference transfer’ rule only applies to football, which I think is correct and maybe only for the spring window, not sure. We’ve seen instances where players transfer within the conf in basketball, a la Aidoo, but I don’t know all the particulars.
That was supposed to happen Saturday.Seen a couple of Nova accounts last night say Rice is a “done deal to them tomorrow”
Guess we will see today if he commits or not lol
Ament to be UT’s highest nba draft pick of all-time?
There is a good chance
