Hard to read too much into these things.

On one hand, I can understand why it raises an eyebrow. On the other, I can think of multiple reasons why he'd say something like that, and not be heading to Nova himself.

It’s just a phrase used by the younger kids these days.

I heard it one time and got a chuckle out of it. So now I just use it from time to time.


If anyone needs a old man definition, it basically means, “let’s shut the **** up and move on with our lives”

Kobi reposted it too. They’re just happy for their Maryland teammate. Doubt it had anything to do with Rice and Nova

On one of the paid Gonzaga boards, the admin mentioned that USC has offered Rice a larger NIL offer than any of the other schools. He seems to think it may put USC over the top. Tennessee's offer is still competitive based on the current market, but USC is throwing the hail mary money at him. we shall see....

fwiw, that insider doesn't think Nova is a threat at all

He isn’t a Hail Mary money player. We will be ok if he doesn’t come to UT. That said, I do want him.

I don’t think the way Willard’s search played out did him any favors. He didn’t come across as the type of guy you’d want to play for. Acted selfishly and in his own best interest and enhanced distractions for his team in the most pivotal point of the season.

It was something to the effect of, "I'd expect by the close of business today we'll have heard something on Freeman" in regards to a question about how he felt about Freeman.
