2025 Transfer Portal Thread

Yes, thanks for actually answering my question. Barnes is paid the big $ to figure all that out and make everybody happy.

You also have to remember...13 player roster isn't going to have 13 guys playing 20+ mpg

IF we land all these guys I think we'll have 8 - 9 guys flirty with 20 mpg

200 minutes in a game...so even if 9 players all got equal minutes that'd be 22.2 a piece...here's the 9 I think will be playing near 20 (most minutes down to least)
Ja'Kobi
Rice
Freeman
Felix
Ament
Carey
Cade
JP
Passmore

Will get minutes...but inconsistently I think:
Bishop
Evans

Henderson & Brown likely RS candidates who we don't see much this season. I have Ament/Freeman higher because I think both can play the 3/4. Real question will be how fast is JP back up to full speed and will he be able to take minutes away from Carey/Felix.

Rice, Freeman, Ament are the top 3 pieces...

Seems like a strong assumption we'll have 15 spots and can return 4 year seniors. So with or without Passmore we can get to 15 pretty quickly (ZZ, Gainey, Shack & Igor would all be eligible for a 5th year)

Idk imo. Cuz Tennessee still needs a guard for depth piece off the bench
Remember Zeigler as a freshman? Who is to say Troy Henderson is not good enough to have impact as a freshman??? We don't know. Guards who sit as a freshman usually get in rotation as a sophomore , we have Bishop Boswell as another bench depth who can play and guard 1-3. Amari Evans is another depth bench piece who looks much more physically ready than most freshmen ànd much better defensively than most freshman.... a starting SG & SF are the two most important pieces we need right now

Was his visit cancelled or just not set?

Mike Lewis just said he didn’t have one set.

I'm told Tennessee does not have a visit scheduled with Kansas guard Rakease Passmore at this time.

Passmore, a former four-star recruit, is on Tennessee's radar. But no visit is currently set.
