I think what I meant was what you alluded to in your 1st quote above. Just make those NIL agreements simple and straightforward. It can be a pretty thin line between "complicated" and "misleading".

You have 4 players in BOLD print, 2 of which are committed. Are you dropping hints with Freeman and Rice since they are in bold or just the 2 main players we are going after?

Here's the balancing act...say we do match it. Is Rice actually going to accept at that point or will he return to Nova (or some other school) and say "Vols raised theirs to $$$" and then the other school may raise again...

This is why Barnes & company have ROI and all that factored in. They have their range on a specific player. It's not a "we'll pay top dollar for you" it's a "here's what we believe is fair" if the player can get more elsewhere and that's all they care about then we'll move to the next guy on the list. No hard feelings.

Staff let Aidoo walk after he returned with his new shopped rate. They for sure aren't going to let an unknown player jerk them around in a yo-yo negotiation.

He bolds the names that are the main targets at this time. They’ve been in bold on all the updates, don’t think there’s any hidden messages there.
