People are going to complain about it from now until the end of time, but this is college sports now. At the risk of dating myself, I was helping football players in the early 90s. It was infuriating watching the university make so much money off them while they weren't able to afford a Happy Meal. I'm here for this change. It's a very good thing. And sometimes, silliness like this is gonna happen.

I mean, Georgia just watched their wildly overrated, injured QB get a pay raise to head to Miami and be with his much richer girlfriend. And the universe found it amusing to have somebody steal their six-figure automobiles right afterward. You just gotta laugh at all of it.

I stopped visiting that side of the forum years ago. I’ll tinker in the recruiting forum sometimes, but that’s about as far as I’ll go into that void.

Football Forum is for people whose ability to do critical thinking came to a screeching halt around the 8th grade.

Just a shame. Dillon Sampson deserved more than him last year and now he’s trying to hold the program hostage?Let him walk and play with the kids we have.

I'm just not overly impressed with the bama transfer. Not saying he's a bad player, just not a game changer.

Freeman off the bench is who I’d personally have. If JP is healthy I see him beating out Okpara. I thought I remember seeing that he was better than Okpara in the summer?

Cannot wait to get JP back. One of the most skilled inside players we’ve had here in a while. Was excited to see how involved he remained with the team the entire year (always present / always seeming to be supportive and engaged).

Certainly not nationwide. It’d be big news among our fans, but the national media wouldn’t have cared overly much.

He just lacks much of the national notoriety that Nico has. He never had any of his hype, and was certainly never expected to be a first round pick like Nico is hyped up to be.

Nico way overhyped IMO.
Hype had me believing we had a dude that was going to laser guide every pass that left his hands and run like a deer in the forrest on every play he took off on.
The one thing that sticks out most to me is how he stares down his receivers/doesn't read through his progressions.
If he doesn’t fix that ASAP he is going to sux anywhere he plays.

He's not going to impress from a simple watch. From talking to Bama people I know, he was their version of Mashack if you will. Should fit into Kentucky considering Bama likes to run somewhat similar things. Kentucky adding a top-notch 6'7 wing defender to complement their offense could end up being important
