I'm guessing you realized this by now, but you probably made a big mistake coming here.

If we're serious about pursuing Hausen, I'd take him for sure, assuming we don't have some bigger and "better" fish wanting to jump in the boat. His numbers showed slight improvement overall from his sophomore to junior year even with him moving to a better conference (Big East to Big 12). Shot around 38% from three the last two seasons and over 80% from the FT line.

We could do much worse. Could also do better (probably), but I wouldn't be upset about grabbing him.

Really? How come? Barnes choice wouldn't seem to make sense unless totally focused on a offensive-minded transfer with 2 or more years of eligibility. Do you think Mashack would move on?

I can’t see a scenario where Mashack gets drafted. He’ll get a chance in the G-League/Summer League if he wants it, but his lack of scoring is going to turn most teams off. Even if he’s an elite defender, he can’t be a non-factor offensively to use 1 of your 2 draft picks on.
