This is a yearly occurrence during the offseason. I think everyone that has been on here long enough knew it was coming. It is just who the other party is going to be.

Earlier this morning, you would've thought we'd be lucky to field a NCAA Tournament team this year with how folks were reacting with posts in here. Just a few hours later, UT seals the deal on one of the top PGs in the portal, and one of the top overall transfers regardless of position.

Not trying to trash or belittle anyone, but I'm begging some folks to think before they post every little thought that comes into their heads. Or, if nothing else, take a deep breath and reread your comments before hitting "send." Because some "adults" in here seem more emotional and overreactive than the "kids" they talk about making poor decisions. I'm all for discussion and not saying you have to always be super happy with everything going on with UT basketball, but jeez, y'all go overboard sometimes.

NCAA is ruling on giving players 5 years of eligibility. I would imagine even if it does pass, it will go into effect next year since the 24-25 fall sports participants would already be screwed.

I really don’t care much about the numbers per se. I was a bit critical of him because he missed some reads all year. But our OL also was terrible against OU and Arky, and I believe he got skittish because of it.

But he was also a true sophomore with 1 start before the year. I expect him to get better.

Can you guys please take football discussions to the football forum and not overrun this thread? Would be much appreciated.
