He couldn't even crack UNC's full rotation and was relegated to the deepest part of their bench by the NCAA tournament. Think he averaged less than 5 minutes of playing time/game all season

Two more scorers and a post guy like Carey is probably enough. Ideally you'd want a proven bench scorer but I hope Evans can be that, unsure how the spacing works without a stretch four but I think even without that or a stud 6th man it'll be enough to be competitive as ever.

I do think for national championship aspirations, stretch four and 4 guards who can shoot are prob musts.

We made back to back Elite 8’s with a point guard nobody wanted out of high school, same for Mashack’s, and then a 6th man who came from SC Upstate and wasn’t wanted by any power programs. We have seen Sweet 16/25 plus win teams with Williams , Schofield, Alexander whom nobody wanted. Yet people are freaking out because UT isn’t throwing stupid money at these guys. This coach wins with the players he gets. He develops them and gets them to buy in. Im thinking it will be fine.
