We really need to hit big on someone soon for momentum. Momentum plays a big part with the other recruits if we are flailing around, it becomes unattractive for other portle guys

Alvaro is skilled but I wonder if his price, as well as his lack of athleticism and playing below the rim, might not make him the best fit. Would really love a bouncy forward at the 4 who can defend and take advantage of opportunities off the roll. A Tyler Smith-type would be ideal here, IMO (as far as being able to finish and create shots around the basket).

There is no guarantee that is going to happen and even if it does I doubt Barnes will ever fill up all 15. That’s a lot of guys to try to keep happy when they can transfer at will.

Women’s basketball has been at 15 scholarships for years and I can’t remember the last time the Lady Vols carried 15.

I agree with who ever mentioned our football recruiting and portal recruiting for football absolutely sucks for how much we supposedly spend on it. We don't get any worth a damn outside 1 or 2 guys. we need to put some of that money towards basketball
