Vols will never punt one sport to focus on another. Schools like Louisville, Kentucky, Duke are going to punt football and focus NIL on basketball. Same with OSU and Georgia for football. Barnes and vols will have to operate with what they got, stability, getting dudes to NBA, because they won't be throwing around crazy bags like some places

I would be fine exclusively focusing on football and Men's basketball.

Don't really care about Lady Vols or baseball. I know some do, and that's great, but those sports aren't paying the bills around here.

Yes and I don’t blame them and neither should anyone here. They would all do it. Tbh taking the orange shaded glasses off, Louisville will be the better team next years anyway so I think he made the right choice. He can win and get the bag.

I suspect it was mostly a money thing. That and McNeeley may have wanted to stay in the B league and decided he didn’t want any part of a battle in the SEC every night out.

I'll hold off on the "this is horrible" reaction in regards to McKneely. He's good and a great shooter, but Tennessee is targeting several good shooters and wing options aside from him, AND there will still be a few more good shooters who enter the portal.

We'll be fine. UT will still make a great haul in the portal. Can't fault a kid for choosing the bag when it's an offer you can't refuse for a historically successful program.
