ZZ aidoo and Santi were all sick versus Purdue last year. Our problem this year was not ZZ - it was missed open shots and lack of inside presence on offense and defense.

We wouldn’t have beaten Houston with anyone at PG. ZZ wasn’t guarding Edey last year so not sure how he can be blamed for not getting to the FF. I can tell you I don’t think we get to the Elite 8 with him either year.

That’s totally fair. I just think having 2-3 shooters will open the floor more and allow him to get open looks down low as well.

It very well could be more of the same with him.

Open looks from how far? His range is dunk - or point blank layup. For a guy with a decent looking free throw stroke it's hard to understand how he can have so little touch from 3 feet. He seems as likely to miss the rim as hit it. But maybe having 4 legit scorers that need to be guarded could get him an extra dunk or 2 each game?
