Yeah, I think it’d be ideal to not have Ament as the primary scoring threat, at least in theory. He’s a freshman, take some of that pressure off of him.

Wing/F players ranked in the top 5 that are pretty much lottery locks by most evals tend to score pretty big in their one year. When they don't it's generally them being on a stacked roster, like when Duke signed 2, 3 and 4 a couple of years ago, or they sat out like Sharpe at UK. Ament should be, by all accounts a true scorer that can get you 15+ a game. With a much higher upside based on how much Barnes loves him.

Not on a Trilly message board…but If he’s talking about the same guy, and since some have asked…it’s Clarence Massamba. 6-5 French SG. Is a 3 level scorer with some absolute bounce. Had rumblings of heading to G league this year with a 2026 draft pick being very possible. Instead…he will be coming to Knoxville.
