There are some insane things being posted about Gillespie all over the place. Maybe people forget how good Punter was as a Senior. Maybe they don't understand the intangible qualities that made Zakai Zeigler special. These comparisons feel unfair though.

I think he is perfect for us. I wanted him when he was in HS as I'm from the area and really believed in him.

But it feels like we are setting some people up for disappointment.

He has a really solid game and is a good shooter. He can most certainly be the PG if a Final Four team. We just need to keep adding the pieces.

Jalen Brunson was the 28th pick. Clayton will have to be in right circumstance but he has a lot of attributes that will translate in the NBA.

I hope DK gets traded in the off-season. The Lakers sit him in the corner and often make him a one dimensional offensive player because Luka, LeBron and Reeves will always get the shots. Because none of them play defense they have to surround themselves with 3D types which isn’t DK. He would be great at Indiana.

We will try and sign 2 wing shooters IMO. If we can’t sign the two we want I wouldn’t mind getting a perimeter specialist from lower level school vs leaving a scholarship open. Can never have enough shooters.
