2025 Target List

Henderson looks like a total steal for us. Kid can play.
Huh??? I watched the 1st half and he was 0-6, 2 ugly TOs, and 1 (maybe 2) assists. According to the stats, he finished with 13 pts, 3 rebs, 3 assts, 3 stls on 3-13 shooting, 0-6 from 3.

Ament looks very skilled, but his lack of bulk and strength even at that level is concerning. He got bumped and pushed around quite a bit. Admittedly, this is pretty high level high school ball, but it isn't D1 and especially SEC-level strength and competition. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but he was kind of annoying going to the ground so often and wanting every call. Just something I pay attention to when watching superstars play at that level.

Side note, I'd take that Latrell Allmond kid in a second. #24 on Henderson's team (John Marshall). He's 6'-8, 225 and a top-50 kid in next year's class.

Yo that's a name I completely got out of my brain until you mentioned him lol.

It also makes me appreciate how good of PG's we have had since Barnes has been here. He converted Punter into a serviceable PG who was a scorer first. Then Bone, KC, and ZZ.

Bruce kind of struggled getting us a great PG. Maze was his best (not counting CJ since he was here already)... He had Melvin Goins, but he wasn't on the level of CRB PG's.

Missed out on guys like Aaron Craft (downfall) and Josh Selby (was a bust anyways)... Then you got CCM who has Trae Golden and Antonio Barton. Tyndall had to use JRich as a PG.

We went through some dark years at the PG position. I fully trust that CRB sees something in Troy.
I always wondered how good Ramar Smith could have been if he had approached the game (and life in general) the way Chris Lofton did.

He had size and strength, even as a freshman, where he averaged 10.7 pts, 3.3 rebs, and 3.1 assts. He could get to the rim and finish but really needed to develop his outside shot and reign in the TOs. Sadly he was more interested in working on his street cred than his jumpshot.

Henderson won Virginia player of year twice. He can play.
At a different school (Lancaster) and at Virginia's lowest level, Class 1.

I'm not saying he's a bum, necessarily, but I just have no idea what you watched in that video that had you sprinting to your keyboard to rave about what a steal he was for Tennessee.

Nate Ament has postponed his decision until November now, where he will appear with his new team 5 minutes before tip off of the season opener.

Nice! We can have each team announce the first 4 starters pregame with the music blaring, strobe lights cycling and fire gushing, and then see which stadium tunnel he runs out of!

Instead of putting on a hat at a table, he will put on the jersey for the team he will be playing for that night.

The real question is if Isiaha Evans is going to stay at Duke or not. That would be a big factor I believe. It will be interesting if Nate commits to TN and then Evans announce staying at Duke.
I don't think the general public will know at the same time Nate does. My guess is Nate doesn't know yet.
