I'm not meaning to say that's why they initially chose Nashville. I'm just saying I understand why they continue to play it there. And I'd also argue that it being the primary location for much of this century (pre or post-expansion) is partly due to its central locality to the conference footprint. Certainly not the only reason, though.

Head-to-head is kind of important, though. Lol. Florida is clearly better than Alabama and proved it in both games against them this season. The game in Tuscaloosa was nowhere as close as the score indicated and today was a complete obliteration. Not to mention Florida finished ahead of both teams in the standings during the regular season.

I was about to say. In my memory, Ray Mears was the first coach to get people interested in UT basketball and they all owe something to him. Even had a player riding a unicycle in warmups.
