They have talent. If Thiero makes it back I could see them beating Kansa in that projected East bracket. If that happens, and we end up in that same bracket like many are predicting, they very well could be our round of 32 opponent.

I think we beat them, but definitely not as easy as the first go around.
Personnally, I was hoping they would run into KY again. Would be glorious to see them beat them again.

Texas has looked like dog crap most of the year and now they finally looking like a tournament team once they have to win out to make it.
No Cinderella story like that happening in the SEC this year, tho.

Vandy sure doesn’t look like the same team we saw twice. Texas is making them look silly. Carey can’t get out of his own way. Already with 2 fouls.

This would be a Q1 win for Texas. If they then beat A&M they might have a shot. Beat us after that and they become a lock

I need to look again at the last 4 in but I was thinking they needed 3. 2 may be enough, tho. Not sure.
Edit: after a quick look if Ohio State was to crap the bed in their tournament they could jump them. Maybe Oklahoma, but Oklahoma just beat them H2H

Yeah, I just seen that. Same record as Ohio State, so definitely chance there. May be hard to bump Xavier, they probably in for sure.
Like I said in my edit, they could jump Oklahoma if they lose first game, but they need to finish more than tied since Oklahoma has the H2H.
I agree with you, 3 wins/beating us almost assuredly gets them in, IMO.

Arkansas is back in the last 4 bye. They for sure going to be 10 seed or maybe even lower.

Texas I guess, buest chance at beating Texas A& M, IMO.
Want Georgia to win tonight, too.
Keeps that win a Quad 1.
If both these happen, Oklahoma could be in trouble if Texas was to beat Texas A&M.
Also possible, both could make it in if Ohio State craps the bed in the Big 10 championship.

ESPN sends their top announcing team to the top conference tournament. If instead, the ACC had the season the SEC just had, they’d be in Charlotte.

Personally, I think Texas gives A&M more issues than Vandy. A&M is the only team in this tourney I do not want to see

Looks like Texas is moving on…..

As mentioned above, if Ohio loses Texas could become the 14th SEC team. That would be cool…
