The other station is USA Network. Game actually starts at 6:30 CST they have a pre game show at 6.@Volfan2012 hey, what time does Deniya play today? Is it on espn?
I noticed that as well. She seemed to have participated in some practices and not in others. I hope our girls stay healthy!I’ve been watching the highlight clips from practices and a few times it looked like Deniya Prawl wasn’t dress to participate in the sessions/drills. I’m not sure if she’s playing in the game could just be there to support her teammates. Maybe so does play we will see later today.
She missed some regular season games also this season probably hasn’t been 100% this year.

My point was they look great against other top high schoolers. They will not look as great in the SEC against upperclassmen. Not a criticism just reality. You can probably count on one hand freshman who have dominated. Candace Parker as an example. Super excited to have all of them and excited to see their development as Lady Vols. All players were high schoolers at one time. Very happy we got some of the best available. Looks good for the future.

Would you care to provide examples of any posters on here who have been critical of any of our incoming class? It’s not even about freshmen. It’s the freshmen that Tennessee has coming in that some posters take issue with receiving attention and playing this upcoming season.
A good number of the Top 25 teams last season played multiple freshman players in their rotation.
Apparently they do not. When trapped or directly challenged, the KLU move is to immediately post Twitter feed news of the incoming class. But I’m sure you’ve noticed that.Would you care to provide examples of any posters on here who have been critical of any of our incoming class?
Not claiming they are the second coming of Holdsclaw, Catchings or Parker does not count as a criticism.

Really like McDowell and her college level strength. Haven’t been impressed with Makeer based purely on the two allstar games. Agree on Chavez.Watch #2 McDowell, she only played 18 minutes but was one of the best 2-3 players on the floor in this event. That is Bree Hall’s replacement long term and she has a nice outside stroke but can bang down low also. She measured 6’2.5” at this event, coming in bigger than expected, a rarity with the way they post heights today. She is every bit as tall as Edwards now. Same for Makeer, she was listed 6’0.5”, came in at 6’1.25”.
Dawn can evaluate with the best. McDowell looks like a steal, she was rated 5 star AA but was ranked #22 overall, should have been ranked top 5 it appears . Definition of a steal if I am correct. I could see her making a huge impact next season like Edwards did this past year, just from a different position.
She will share the 3 spot this year with T. Johnson, likely getting 15-20 minutes per game, she can also slide into the 4 spot some and will at times do this this next season. Makeer will slide between the 2-3 spots for 10-15 minutes per game in her first year. She has a huge upside also, but likely needs more time than McDowell to make a big impact (Needs to add 15-20 lbs.) She is offensive minded but she plays lock down defense also, she held Chavez to 3 points when guarding her.
For these reasons I hope SC does not recruit another portal player in that 2-3 spot…
