NFL's Global Markets Program Adds Four New Clubs and Two New Markets in 2025

The National Football League announced an expansion of its Global Markets Program (GMP), with four new clubs set to participate in 2025 and two new markets added.
Launched in 2022, the Global Markets Program awards NFL clubs international marketing rights to build brand awareness and fandom beyond the U.S., through fan engagement, events, commercial opportunities and NFL Flag development.
In total, 29 clubs will participate in the program across 21 international markets — up from 25 clubs across 19 markets in 2024 — as the NFL continues to prioritize global growth and connecting with more fans across markets around the world.
"The expansion of the Global Markets Program in 2025 reflects the NFL's continued focus to grow the game and connect with fans on a global scale," said NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business, Major Events & International Peter O'Reilly. "With more clubs entering the program and existing clubs adding to their global rights, and as the program expands to new markets, we are seeing strong momentum and impact in growing fandom worldwide together."
Global Markets Program updates for 2025 include:
FOUR NEW CLUBS:
  • Baltimore Ravens: Granted rights in the United Kingdom.
  • Green Bay Packers: Granted rights across Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
  • Los Angeles Chargers: Granted rights in Greece.
  • Washington Commanders: Granted rights in the United Arab Emirates.
TWO NEW MARKETS:
  • Greece: Los Angeles Chargers.
  • United Arab Emirates: Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Washington Commanders.
Existing GMP clubs expanding rights to additional markets:
In 2025, nine clubs that currently hold GMP rights will expand to additional countries, acquiring between one and three territories per club (see full club rights chart below).
  • Arizona Cardinals: Adding Canada.
  • Detroit Lions: Adding Brazil.
  • Indianapolis Colts: Adding Switzerland (now across entire DACH region).
  • Kansas City Chiefs: Adding Spain, Ireland and United Kingdom.
  • Las Vegas Raiders: Adding Australia and New Zealand.
  • Los Angeles Rams: Adding United Arab Emirates.
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Adding Brazil.
  • San Francisco 49ers: Adding United Arab Emirates.
  • Seattle Seahawks: Adding Australia and New Zealand.
NFL clubs can apply for rights to international markets by submitting proposals to the International Committee for review each spring. Clubs are awarded rights for a five-year term through the program and during this period can pursue activities that are consistent with what they can do in their home domestic market, in their awarded international markets.

RE: Pickens trade

Pickens is likely going to ball out and be a good soldier, since this is a contract year. And if he is awesome, Cowboys can just tag him. They don't have to be afraid of him walking.

Cowboys needed a WR, didn't address it in the draft, and now arguably have the best WR tandem in the NFL and they're only paying $3.6M for one of them.

The Cowboys are in a position where they need to take gambles, and this was a great one.

I'd still take Cinci or Minn over Dallas for the best tandem. Hell, Jags might have it

In no specific order:

Lamb + Pickens
JJ + Addison
Chase + Higgins

The rest are honorable mention, IMO.

Brown is elite, Smith is just good.
Nakua is great, Adams hasn't had a great season since 2022.
Thomas is great, but haven't even seen Hunter play.

Pickens is "just good" lol. He's NEVER had a "great" year. Adams has 500+ more receiving yards in the same 3 year span since he's been in the league.

Smith has 200+ more in the 3 years, and nearly the same amount of TDs

He's MAYBE a Top 25ish WR
