Worst day of my podcast listening life. Russillo leaving the Ringer. The Life Advice crew will never be replaced. I'm actually a little depressed.

I get so, so sick of Simmons during the football season and RR fixes that when NBA starts. That's gone.

It's a tough break. Even if he brings Lowe on or Mahoney, I'm gonna miss that dynamic. The Luka trade with the 3 of them might be my favorite podcast episode of all-time.

Apparently, there are rumors Russillo has been itching to get on TV and he's going to be a big part of the FS1 Barstool morning talk show. The whole production company thing, Russillo doesn't feel big enough but I'm sure people said the same thing about Bill and he's built a beast.

RR has been among the top few sports pods for like 5 years.

The Barstool guys seem like such d-bag losers.

I don't get, outside of Pardon My Take (and Gruden's YT stuff, which Barstool does nothing with when you actually think about it), why anyone finds them interesting. I saw on twitter the other day, they are doing some sort of reality show with their content people or something? Like the worst version of Jersey Shore? I can't believe RR, who values himself as a serious sports analyst, would get into bed with that company.

When I first heard his contract was coming up and FS1 shelved all their morning stuff, I thought they were going to build a show around him in the mornings, because he's the PERFECT counter to First Take with what he brings to the table. I'm curious with Barstool if that still happens. Apparently, their morning show is Portnoy, Big Cat and PFT and then rotating people.

I have no idea who these guys are, except the main 3 guys. Jason Williams, as in white chocolate?

I'm willing to entertain the idea of Big Cat growing on me. I liked Portnoy when I only knew him as the pizza guy. Learning more and seeing his takes hasn't been good for my perception of him.
