Bad news is I didn't pick one golfer that could shoot under par on Day1. Good news is they were all ahead of Rory. But, all mine are also still on hole 5ish. Could blow up. Could recover. Even with a lot of holes left i may not see double digits.

This is everybody's A picks. In front of name is how many of us pciked them. After name is score and what hole they're on. You expect Quail Hollow to be a bit tougher for hte PGA being Major #2, and apparently it's delivering accross the board. I'd say the -5 leader had a heck of a day.
Thu Round:

(6) Scheff -2 F (Apparently not a bad day)

Yep. Some big names filling the bottom of hte field. Looks like cut will be +1 if it holds. Rory out regardless at +3. Aberg out. JT out. Xander on the bubble at +1. Of the A picks on everyone's list, Bryson and Scheff are the only two definitely in. Zander may still make it. Scheff hasn't started his round and he's -2 going in. He got no room for a mediocre day today.

I'm losing 2. But, I did get lucky on a -10 day losing my two before they got their pink slips.

Some unforseen/unlikely leaders packed in at -5 or better. Some solid golfers in range but very, very few of what I would call the "big names" even at -2 or better. Homa, after being so horrible this year to date posting a -5 for the cut.


EDIT: I was looking and wrong line and thought Rory finished his round and missed cut. He's back to +1 with 4 holes left so he can make cut if he don't blow it.

I had that happen 3 or 4 weeks ago. Lost my whole squad. The week after my first and only win ever I think it was. Coulda been the best ball scramble.
