This is more what I was getting at. I think it's the system, but credit to Heupel because it's his system. But I don't think these QBs are getting "fixed". Milton still overthrew the ball. Nico probably still doesn't check down. Joey still threw INTs. But the system worked for them. Or at least good enough.

Not trying to be negative about Heupel. His offense is dynamic and exciting. Just noting that he's not asking guys to change. They are who they are. But they succeed, more or less, within the confines of his system.

"Fix them" doesn't mean that he can turn anybody into Peyton or Tom. It means he turns them into the best version of themselves. And yes, he does do that.

He's also built a system that overperforms. Smart.

Why is this even a question or concern? If he takes someone, he thinks he can make them successful. That might not always happen, but I like Heup's chances better than most.

Don’t blame you. I would just like to see players like that actually care about their legacy a little bit. It just sucks to have to watch him play his last year (probably healthy this time) for somebody else.
