His ability to shift over to tackle, his PFF grade, his stats, and like you said, the fact that he seemed to genuinely be happy to come over. All of that makes me love this pickup

Very good pickup for our Vols. Swing OL are so valuable to have. Big addition. Now I will remind you that the Portal will be available for Grad transfers only in the Spring so there will be another opportunity to add depth to the Roster especially after going through Spring ball and knowing your weakness on your roster. Also I might add the freshman coming in will be Tennessee depth. In today's world of football Freshman are going to play even bigger roles moving forward because of the money you have in them especially the really good ones getting good payday. So Sorsby started at 3, then ended at 4-5 and we could have gotten him for 5....... but didn't..... But then all of a sudden we had 4-5 to spend on Leavitt/TY or someone towards the end of this week... interesting... this is according to Stoerner... No QB as of this morning.

still need Oline, DT, RB, QB, a DB... portal is closed. Most of the upper tier talent is already committed/signed.... Still some good talent out there, but now more of depth pieces than starters available... Now we can do what we seem to do best, go bargain basement shopping for whoever is left... got it. Looks like we just got the WV Olineman, which is great and much needed-- guy can play several positions.

But according to DW and Heup, we are competing for championships... LOL, okay! At this point with the roster we have, 7-5 would be outstanding...

Yeah, they talked about his deal on the podcast. Includes a hell of a lot of stuff, like a wheels up contract that he can use to fly anywhere. He gets housing and all accommodations. AP did say he’d be surprised if it wasn’t north of 10 mil. Truthfully there isn’t a guy that’s definitively worth that. That’s #1 overall pick money from the league payments. And from the sounds of it there are multiple guys getting that from schools.

I’m genuinely shocked a couple QB’s haven’t entered the portal and tried to leverage us against their own school

2025 roster shows 100 players we lost 39 to nfl/portal/graduation. If we lost no more, we’ve added 39 through 2026 class and portal.

A lot of teams are ignoring the rules. DW has complained about it and said we won’t do that.

Ericvol2096 pointed out the cheating of Kiffin and told DW to do something about it if we must follow the rules.
