My definition of VFL in the transfer portal is pretty simple. If you end your collegiate career here, you earn the badge, regardless of how many years of service.

If you go somewhere else after, not a VFL. It’s why Aidoo and Awaka are not VFLs, as an example. They contributed to some great moments but decided to leave.

I do think the NIL structure at some schools like Miami and Tech are going to spiral.

"We may not have a QB..." Come on folks. The cupboard isn't bare, it's just young. They just need to land a guy that's capable for depth. We made the playoff with Nico at QB...it's not like the sky is falling. We've got an elite DC, several new guys that know his system...just need to land a couple more guys in the portal on defense. Would it have been nice to land a few more top names from the portal? Sure. But we're not about to fall off a cliff.

They are a QB away from being a fun team and with a shot to contend in a 16 team likely playoff. Take off the talent fee and tell the fans we are rebuilding and stay with us. Can’t do both charge for 11 win type teams and dumb down season.

Exactly, people can refute it all they want, but if Heupel goes 6-6 he’s gone.

Like I've said, there is a zero percent chance that we will lose more games than we did last season with a championship winning DC, a five star qb running the show with 2 750 yard WRs, a 1000 yard RB, and an OLine that returns 4 out of 5 with our LT being one of the best tackle prospects of the last decade.

QB is different than any other position on the team and it’s a completely different era right now with the portal. How many teams with playoff hopes are playing young QBs and projected to not only make the playoffs, but win games while there? Teams with the most success in the post-season are fielding experienced QBs. Chambliss, Beck, Mendoza, etc.

Dante Moore is on the younger side but he at least had 14 games worth of experience headed into this year.
