Saying the coaches don’t want a starter when they’ve swung big and missed on multiple starters is laughable. I’m ultimately fine going with GMac and trust CJH with QBs, but it’s very bold of him to be doing this going into year 6. No one but you will be fine with 6-7 wins.First off, I am a man. Your daddy maybe a boy, but I'm not.
Based on what you saw with your eyes, do you think this team is a playoff team? They spent on defense because that was a problem. CJH is fine rolling into the season with GMAC as the starter. The only people that aren't are the fans. If they wanted a starter, they would've gotten one. What the coaches want, and what the fans want are 2 different things. Coaches are looking for an experienced backup, and they're moving as such.
Bingo. Anyone saying otherwise is just coping. As much as it hurts and seems like we have no plan, this is the reality because they would have NEVER went after Leavitt if they thought G-Mac and or Faizon was good enoughIf Heupel really thinks Gmac is the guy and is willing to bank on it in year 6 then that’s fine. I just don’t think he really believes Gmac is the guy because of the desperation to get Leavitt.
SL was still rehabbing. They've gone after what, 1 or 2? They're not panicking. If they were, they would just over pay for a QB which they haven't done.Saying the coaches don’t want a starter when they’ve swung big and missed on multiple starters is laughable. They didnt overpay for Leavitt. He is still hurt, and he may not even play this year. They wanted insurance.Bingo. Anyone saying otherwise is just coping.
