We need to win with integrity, and that’s what I said when I got here. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. That doesn’t mean we’re not going to win as much. We can win without breaking rules.”

go read the whole thing. Lots of info in it. We're never winning anything big with DW at the helm. Mr. Rule Follower has to color in the lines.

It's literally been reported contact was made before the portal opened. We also know they went hard after several sitting Qbs in the spring after Nico left.

I don't care but there's really no need for name calling. It shows your own shortcomings not mine.

I never was on board with the Leavitt hype. I agree he's not worth $6.5 mil which is supposedly what was offered. How many of yall in here carry water for DW? That is mind-boggling.

My point is that I shared he wouldn't allow CJH to do what other coaches like Lane are doing ... and a lot of you said that's so dumb. In reality the AD himself confirmed it is all true! He's got CJH riding on a pedal bike with training wheels on the same track with other coaches having crotch rockets.

I don't mind a little name calling for the fans that have insane takes like this. Especially under Danny when we have literally won championships and turned the football program completely around.

Furthermore, what other coaches do what Lane does? What did he do other than show up at the airport and promise another 2 million dollars? Danny has hampered nothing with the football program and there's absolutely nothing but wild speculation that people like you choose to run with, because you are part of the legion of the miserable.

Hope you enjoyed that, because we aren't hitting the playoffs, the Elite 8 ( may struggle to make the tourney the way the season is going so far) or the MCWS anytime soon... We were up and it was great, but now we are trending down... (see CFB season, current Mens and Womens BB, and Baseball/Softball remain to be seen)

This one kinda pisses me off. If you're homesick, then transfer, but let the coaches know before the portal opens. Don't wait until near the end of the portal window, handcuffing the coaches. Nothing changed between now and the end of the bowl game. He didn't just start missing his mommy this week.

Some of these kids could show a little courtesy to the coaches who worked to build relationships and the schools that spent money on them, and all of the people who worked to develop them.

Eh. Jason witten has seen him play his entire hs career (Liberty Christian and Southlake Carroll are rivals, 20 min from each other). Witten gets hired as Oklahoma TE coach in the last week, goes after a TE he wants. So now Jack has a hall of fame TE calling him and he gets to play closer to home? Would be a fool to turn it down

We already know we contacted several sitting QBs after Nico. We already know we spoke with Sorsby and others before the portal opened. We also know that we spoke to Ty Simpson before he made his decision to go pro. So what rules exactly are we not following?

Didn't say he shouldn't transfer. I said he shouldn't do it at the end of the portal window, leaving Tennessee without many options to replace him.

The reason stated was that he was homesick. Fine. Leave because you're homesick. But do it earlier.
