Another DB, DL or two, and random QB to compete and we pretty much will have. I’m sure they’d like a RB too.

Judge the portal class based on what they do next year, not on rankings. The sites are even worse at ranking these guys than they are HS.

Guess I was right about DW making the rules CJH had to follow regarding the portal. Got blasted by a few in this thread. Accd to ADDW:

"We want to dominate college sports. But I don’t think we’re dominating it if we create the next big scandal around here,” White said. “We’re still under NCAA probation from the last one. We need to win with integrity, and that’s what I said when I got here. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. That doesn’t mean we’re not going to win as much. We can win without breaking rules.”

go read the whole thing. Lots of info in it. We're never winning anything big with DW at the helm. Mr. Rule Follower has to color in the lines.

I read it. Basically a hit piece with not a lot of substance . “Sorsby said he wanted to play in Neyland Stadium, but we couldn’t close.” Yeah TTU is paying a $hit ton of $ and his girlfriend is going there. We weren’t winning that one. Kiffin outdualed Heupel 3-0 blah blah. Downplayed the defensive portal additions and made a comparison to Dabo. Come on

Yeah, we'll never win anything big like the Men's College World Series or be a perennial Elite 8 team or make the CFP playoffs Just can't compete with DW at the helm

Exactly. Results on the field is the end all be all.

Different sport but I once heard a college coach talking to a HS baseball team. He said “pitchers, have you ever had that game where everything is working? Every pitch, every location? You’re sitting guys down left and right but no matter how good it’s going, there’s always that one kid that puts the bat on the ball. At the next level, the whole lineup is that one kid.”

I get the ranking systems and all but really and truly nobody knows how talent will translate to another team, another league, or at the next level. It’s about results and results only.
