I’m sure Basilio’s source told him that. And I’m guessing Tony’s source did, in fact, speak with someone in the family who would have knowledge of the situation.

I’m also pretty certain Sorsby’s family isn’t gonna say “Our son wasn’t interested in Tennessee because they didn’t want to pay what Texas Tech or LSU offered to pay.”

I’ve been hearing about us being involved with Sorsby since November. If he wanted to be here, he’d be here. This “shucks, too slow!” stuff only makes sense in the context of family softening the blow to a Tennessee-affiliated source.

I doubt the UT football staff was unaware of this until the portal opened.

What is slow to some is methodical and calculated to others. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

Wrong or right, Heupel believes he can get production out of his QB and his offense. If there's no one else left that he thinks can unseat George (or Fazion) then all you need is depth/practice player. Time will tell.

We’re going to have a Top 4 roster in the league and will get Texas at home and won’t play UGA. College station will be tough though.
