He is in portal. Got an offer from Syracuse, but they went a different direction. I think his issue for not getting more attention is:

He is short (<6')

He does not have a big arm


Pros are he his accurate

These kids have become such losers these days. It’s amazing how many of them bad mouth and disrespect coaches who gave them a shot out of high school.

Starting to see the character of kids Kiffin is bringing in with him to LSU.

We’re going to run a train on LSU and I can’t wait for it. I’ll have my LSU buddy with me. The only game we’ve gone to together was in 2022. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.

I know there is a healthy contingent of fans here that are anti-Leavitt but the aggressiveness with which Heupel seems to be pursuing him tells me he thinks he’s the real deal, not just a body that we need because Joey is graduating. Gets me excited if he manages to pull this off.
