Nobody once has said we were even remotely close to leading for Chaz. The only change I saw was we went from low confidence to medium when we landed Gilliam but even then a stretch. Chaz has show no real love or interest towards Tennessee. He posted a pic with Kiffin and a cookie from OSU then deleted everything.

He was and still is a long shot. He 100% wants OSU and they know it so they are low balling. If they matched LSU he would be done already.

I don't disagree, but I believe we have a chance. At this point I think we and USC are essentially the outside chance of him not going to OSU.

I hope we take Norman today and stop wasting time on kids like Chaz. With Indiana, they ID their targets, make an offer, then they take it or they move on to the next guy on their list. We keep getting pulled into these bag chaser’s bidding wars (Chaz & Leavitt) then end up with players like Boo and Nico that we have to replace next year. On to the next, get the guy who actually wants to play for Coach Heupel and win championships.

I’m sure what really set him off was in spring Turrentine and Farooq were getting more 1st team reps than him. Tim Banks man..

Chaz is not wasting time. He is a key guy that already knows Knowles and system. He is also great friends with Gilliam and the LB we just got.

I’d be beyond thrilled with Norman and Russaw at Edge and James Smith paired with Gilliam at DL.

I don’t even know what that accusation is supposed to mean. I’m just a UT alum and fan who has been watching these forums since the Dalton Santos days and thinks that the values Heupel talks about and the values of the players he recruits don’t match up. Zero posts about the Vols outside this board.

I hope we get Norman too

We need multiple edge guys anyways and hes a good player. His sack total alone equaled Herring and Ross together
