Pribula feels like "cover all the bases" type of move; can't just sit around and wait for Joey's court case or for Leavitt to make up his mind (when he'll probably end up choosing Miami anyway)

While our portal plan so far has seemed to be going pretty well if we land the guys we’re expected to on defense, landing Pribula as our QB prospect would be a huge miss from the staff at that position. We really need someone who can come in and elevate the offense in a critical year for Heupel. This just tells me (if it happens) we didn’t have a good enough plan at that position.

On Gentry Williams, his visit went really well, his agent reached out and seems making tennessee visit happen was a priority on his side. Expecting he will make decision quickly, and seems 2 team race as of now (GA or TN).

On him as a player, staff thinks injuries have probably lessened his overall athletic ability some degree but liked his fluidity on tape. Has tons of experience. They see him as being able to play multiple secondary spots. Could see him playing primarily as a safety in Knowles system

Apparently, Heup doesn't believe he can make something out of 2 of those 3 next season since he's looking to the portal for a starter. Can he make something of Pribula? Maybe.
