As I said just get to Friday with 6-8 of our top targets and we are still on track.

It’s hard how deliberate we are but it will lead to good impacts next season.

I think you see us add more of the “depth pieces” later in the portal cycle as there’s going to be a ton of options for a while and that will keep us from running any of our other players off.

Don’t get me wrong. We seem to have missed on some dudes. But I’m rolling with professional college football coaches over some dudes writing articles for clicks. I’ll reserve judgement til this is all over. Heupel may not have made big splashes in portal like we’d love to see, but his hit rate is pretty dang good on dudes he gets. I feel like the beat writers are sort of butt hurt at times because this staff seems to hold info pretty tight.

The idea that Hubbs and AP are in any position to accurately assess the "portal strategy" of the program is hilarious.

Like I’ve said before its extremely hard to compete when your main competition has a billionaire bank rolling everything. We don't seem to have the same level of backing that some of these other schools do.

Dang. So we do have a strategy…… Cause AP and Hubbs and half VN think we are just flying blindly around. No team gets everyone they want. Well. Except TTech.

Short answer---they probably have a miserable life outside of Volnation and get their jollies in here---just a guess though
