I don't know if this is why things seem the way they are, but it would explain a lot.

We’re only losing Brazzell that I know of and bringing in Keys, Wyatt, and King. Plenty of veterans on the roster unless Mike is transferring

I don’t even think the pain is Ross leaving and not being all that productive. The pain is we are losing bodies and it doesn’t look like our staff and NIL team have any answers.

Can you read? He's the 1st that even mentioned he might enter. Even gave a percentage. Make no doubt TT on a spending spree likely has all the current TTU team from wondering if they should also enter the portal.

Few things I heard today: Alabama is in full crisis. Apparently DeBoer walked all the way to the edge with the Michigan job while telling players he wasn’t interested. There are big culture clashes and the boosters are in a meltdown. He has an extended contract, a raise and now the rats are leaving the ship. Boosters wish they had leverage, but now they don’t. Poor guys… In that vein, the Simpson thing continues to pick up momentum. His projected spot in the draft seems to be squishy as I indicated before. Also, he wants to play another college season. Lots of smoke. We have the funds. Obviously agents are going to pull toward NFL. We’ll see. Jordan Ross seems 75+% staying. Had a meeting with every D coach. Likes the energy. We’ve heard from more D players who will enter, but haven’t yet. Everyone feels good that we’ll sign three safeties, two corners and 2-4 on the D line.
Visits picking up. I’m not going to cover percentages of each player, but our holes are primarily defense and we have a lot of optimism that we’ll fill all our needs.

I said this portal would define and shape Heaps future at TN. We had decent talent we had recruited on D, what little we had is gone.

The jordan ross departure should have never happened. Combine that with the fact that we arent bringing in any significant numbers on defense, is very very concerning.

y'all can say its Day 4, but so far this has been a **** show.

I think things will continue to be chaotic. Ross met coaches and everyone seemed optimistic. I think it’s hard to not test the portal at these prices. I don’t have new information, but I still think he could return if we can match the money. Who knows.

I'm not gonna vouch for Sooner, but if you're questioning Stoerner, you haven't paid a lick of attention. No one just gets that lucky on the stuff he's called, and he's been doing it here for a long time.
