So 6 of the top 12 portal classes made the playoffs. Then the 3 best recruiting and developing teams in the country, the anomaly Indiana and 2 P5s. Seems the portal is quite important.

But also 6 of the top 10 didn’t even sniff the playoffs. And 2 of those 3 in the semis also had at least 2 of their past 4 hs classes in the top 10. It’s a mixed bag, like most strategies.

We all know he has limitations. When that kid meets you in the hole, though, you're going down. Also, I never said I wanted him to get all the snaps for my team. There's a big difference between getting all the snaps and having the coaches tell him to hit the road.
To my knowledge, Telander has never been involved in anything that would bring shame upon himself or his team. He has never as much as hinted about jumping into the portal, whether it be to get more money or more playing time. He slaps that sign on his way out of the locker room, then lives it for four hours every Saturday.

If the talent drop-off is that significant at the DT spot within the portal, gotta go all in on our top targets.

If they want to go somewhere else make it be because they like the way the sunset in that particular city or the air quality, something unique. Not bc of money for THAT position.

Moore is projected top 3 pick in draft, why would he go back to school when next years QB draft will be pretty strong according to the experts ?

I'm only guessing, but it might have to do with who he'd be playing for.... A bottom dwelling NFL franchise or a team with a shot at a national championship? QBs drafted early get killed in the NFL when they go to bad teams. Why not stay make money and have a shot at a national championship. Point is NFL isn't always the greatest career opportunity

Yup, he was there “visiting” a 3 star cb who only has 6 offers and next best offer is purdue, while we have a ton of portal prospects on campus. I really hope he was there doing what we all think he’s doing there because the math isnt mathing of him being there just for a 3 star while we have a lot other more important matters on campus

He would be wasting a lot of time to be visiting a high school recruit during the portal. Technically, Ty Simpson isn’t in the portal yet, but I guess it doesn’t mean that he can “catch and make up” with Jason Simpson and kick the tires.
