No, that's me. We have like forty something goats. A horse, 40-50 chickens, dogs, cats........
Must be nice to have a mega rich booster who really cares about the football program. We don’t have that here at TN.Even with as much money as LSU is willing to throw around, it's nothing compared to the Texas Tech dude. As Tony V said, "that oil money is real"; and Cody Campbell has A LOT of it. He's sold two energy companies...one for over $2 billion, and the other for over $6 billion. He gave $25 million to rebuild the stadium. The guy is hell bent on winning...an uber-wealthy booster, who also played there. I wish Peyton had his kind of money. As much as John Ruiz is worth and is willing to spend for Miami, he still isn't in Campbell's league.
Which is weird. His first two years, he was a beast with 2 minutes or less. Hell, we saw him drive the length of the field for points in under a minute, several times in 21 and 22. Idk what's happened in that area?? He hasn't been nowhere near as aggressive these last years. Maybe he's known we haven't had the defense to make a stop, if we do turn it over, idk. There’s a few of these guys, troll patrol is their Crusades.
Can’t imagine why everyone is on edge right now.
To the ones in a panic: don’t, yet. We have money. We’re going portal heavy because we have to. But we’re trying to build a viable 105 under the new rules and I think some of these teams throwing giant bags at the top few guys are gonna find themselves spread thin at other needs.
This part is where I have the most confidence in Heup. It‘s where he excels, actually. Let him cook and he might tell a cocky overpaid player to kick rocks and find a better one for a fraction of the cost.
But for some reason he spazzes out in 2 min drill.
We just have two humble brothers that own NFL/NHL teams worth 15 billion ourselves. They make 30 million a year just in dividends probably so I don’t exactly understand why it’s so difficult for them to put it towards winning without taking a huge hit. Isn’t my money though. Their father played for Neyland as well. Maybe they are dumping out brink trucks but it hasn’t been reported like Campbell, Phil Knight and Ruiz’s contributions have been out thereEven with as much money as LSU is willing to throw around, it's nothing compared to the Texas Tech dude.
