2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

Here is the thing with Leavitt and no one is talking about it. Why would you pay 5 to 6 mil for a guy with this kind of injury? May explain KY being the choice as they are gonna way over pay for an injured QB not to go through spring.

Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt suffered a significant right foot injury (a Lisfranc ligament injury) during the 2025 season, requiring season-ending surgery in early November 2025, sidelining him for about six months and impacting his potential NFL prospects. The injury, which he played through for weeks, led to his decision to enter the transfer portal at the end of the year, with his future at ASU and in college football uncertain as he recovered into 2026.

No! Nooooo! Kentucky dragging Dey nuts onus!!!

I'm going to sit back and let things play out. But, 2025 was a miss for our staff in portal, point blank. Seeing Ole Miss, Indiana, Andy, etc. We missed the boat. You have to do both, HS and Portal.

Nothing about IU or Vandy’s HS signing classes or portal classes last year would’ve excited you if it was the Vols.

They’re simply better at evals and development, not highly rated acquisitions.

I mean this is the only QB mentioned that we are actively pursuing per our beat writers. Nationally, no mention. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That is why I couldn't understand all of the chatter about our supposed interest in him.
I first heard about his surgery around the time that we played Florida.
It's a pretty significant injury that could end up causing him lifelong complications.
