He can go to Jax State and play for their new DB guru.Prob should until it’s official. Hard to ask for more money when you were injured game 1 and it was a major injury. I’m certain we’ll probably stand where we are with this one considering we had no idea what he will be like coming off injury. I’m sure there’s other teams that will feel the same way. He’d better be careful how much more he asked for or he could find himself downgrading to the team he plays for.
If he goes in the portal - or is leveraging for a raise - then he is even stupider than I could've possibly imagined. He tore his pec in Game 1 of the season.... he won't be fully healed for spring practice, and he might not even be close to the same player when he comes back in the fall. He has zero leverage: if he tries to "leverage" us, we can tell him to hit the bricks. There isn't a P4 or G5 team that will pay big money to damaged goodsHeard he's either asked for more $$ and could possibly leave.
Hope is just rumor
Also heard coach ET will not be returning.
Maybe I should delete this. Not sure on the reliability
For you guys saying take a bargain QB,Take Barnett and load up on defense and a RB.

I get what you are saying but you cant be everything in this era of college football. I think its looking at the current composition of the team and seeing what you can morph that into in 1 year. The more you morph the more risk that comes with it. Everyone is pointing to Texas Tech and Ole Miss, but there are also examples it doesnt work out like Florida St and LSUFor you guys saying take a bargain QB,
Look at TT.
For everyone not calling for OL - look at TT,
Ohio st ( 45 ? Yds rushing vs Miami but more total yards)
TT - can’t protect an Average QB, 0 points (4 minutes left) , Loaded D .
Point; about everyone is saying don’t spend big on a QB, get a RB and load up on D.
Miami, Ohio st, TT and Oregon are all loaded on D. Need offense too.
Offense needs great Oline play
And average QB’s don’t do well against loaded Defense’s.
Yea I would doubt we would give him a pay raise after playing 15 snaps all year especially with the amount of talented DBs in the portal. Hopefully it's not true but who knows.Heard he's either asked for more $$ and could possibly leave.

If paying top dollar $4MM+ for a QB affects our ability to load up on defense the we are in the same boat. I'm personally not high on any of these "top portal QBs" anyway. Plus Ohio St, TT, and Miami made the playoffs. I'll take that, better than 8-4. Gotta get in to have a chance. For you guys saying take a bargain QB,
