The more I listen to guys like AP and Hubbs, the more I think TN is gonna have to pay a butt load this year regardless. AP has mentioned us probably taking at least 10 guys out of the portal. And if Heupel thinks he has a real shot at landing a Soresby or Hoover then he will likely come up with th cash.I would be very surprised if Vols spend the money for Sorsby or Hoover. It's gonna take a boatload.
Sounds like we will know something today.Looks like we should have an outcome in the next 2 weeks, but you never know with lawsuits.
There's
no final ruling date yet for Joey Aguilar's eligibility lawsuit; as of mid-December 2025, the case is ongoing, with the NCAA's response to an amended complaint (filed Nov. 21, 2025) due December 19, 2025, requiring a judge to act quickly for any 2026 playing chance before the Jan. 2 transfer portal opens. Aguilar joined Diego Pavia's suit to overturn the NCAA's junior college (JUCO) rule, potentially granting him another year after his successful 2025 season at Tennessee.
It definitely seems like we've been infused with more NIL since the Vandy game. Hopefully that equals some big names in the Transfer protal. The more I listen to guys like AP and Hubbs, the more I think TN is gonna have to pay a butt load this year regardless. Bottom line is this year I don’t think we have a choice to not spend a bunch of money.
I believe the high profile QB's already know their destination. Some backroom dealings have probably have been in the works for weeks...just waiting til Jan.6th.The more I listen to guys like AP and Hubbs, the more I think TN is gonna have to pay a butt load this year regardless. You are probably right. My guess is with the QBs that massive tampering has been going on with them for quite some time.I believe the high profile QB's already know their destination. Some backroom dealings have probably have been in the works for weeks...just waiting til Jan.6th.
Before you say prove it, you prove to me it hasn't been going on...
They are playing in the NFL. They are studs. Those that are not are selling insuranceWhat do you have to show that college football coaches thought he was elite?
Post season honors? That’s about production, not true talent. Would you have taken Sampson over Jeanty, Hampton, Henderson, Judkins, or Skattebo based on skillset?
NFL drafts on talent. Are you going to argue there were 12 stud RB’s?
Sampson was a product of the system to a large extent. Same as Small, Wright, and Bishop. I like all those guys and appreciate what they gave us, but if you think they were the top of the heap, we’ll just have to disagree, Little Marco.
